Casanova: the Duel of the Black Rose by Arxel Tribe - French retail graphics patch
Patch:
For all compatible configurations and graphics cards.
Instructions
Patch installation:
1- The game "Casanova" must be already installed on your hard drive.
2- Unzip the patch which is compatible with your language version in the temporary directory of your hard drive.
3- Once all files are well unzipped, go into this temporary directory.
4- Double-click on setup (or setup.exe) to launch the patch installation and follow messages on the screen.
5- Launch the game by clicking on "Start", "programmes","casanova" et "casanova".
Information:
The present patch corrects some slow downs encountered on some configurations, random return to windows and some compatibility problems with certain Voodoo or Kyro family graphics cards.
IMPORTANT release notes:
- old saves are mainly not working, that is because new casanova.exe files are too different .
- we recommend restarting the computer if Casanova game was played before installing the patch, but it is not necessary.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
Possible errors encountered during patch installation:
Patch deleted casanova.exe in the folder where you installed Casanova.
Patch cannot create fl.ini (error message).
Please follow those steps below:
- uninstall patch (control panel -> add/remove programs -> casanova patch)
- unzip new patch and start setup.exe
- select the folder casanova game is installed in (e.g. c:\casanova,
c:\program files\casanova...)
- start the patch
