Au programme du mois de juin sur le Xbox Live et le PlayStation Store, cinq nouveaux packs de chanson, dont un contenant les performances live issues du Isle of Wight Festival. Les Sex Pistols ont fait un beau cadeau aux joueurs en réenregistrant, 30 ans après, leur fameux "Anarchy in the UK" spécialement pour le prochain pack de chanson sur Guitar Hero III. Le pack en question sortira le 12 juin et contiendra également "I predict a riot" de Kaiser Chief, et "Shoot the runner" de Kasabian.
Pour la sortie de son dernier album, le groupe Motörhead a également droit à son pack. Les morceaux “We Are the Road Crew,” “Stay Clean”, ainsi que le premier single “Motörhead” seront disponibles.
