Dungeon Runners

NcSoft annonce que le deuxième update pour Dungeon Runners, un Hack and Slash gratuit dont on faisait la preview il y a quelques temps est désormais en ligne.

Chunk # 2, c'est son nom, apporte quelques changement mineurs (la possibilité de faire du commerce pour les non-abonné, de looter ce que les abonnés faisait tomber et un coffre plus grand), mais c'est surtout l'occasion pour Nc Soft de commencer à mettre de la pub dans le jeu. Some of the key features being developed for Chunk # 2 are:
• Item bartering: Item bartering will allow players to securely barter items. This is beneficial for ALL players. Everyone will have access to secure item bartering. No gold or Soulbound items can be bartered.
• Bank page: Member players, those who pay the $4.99 per month member fee, will not see any in-game ads. That’s one of many benefits of being a member. Members will also receive three bank pages and guaranteed access to higher quality items. Non-members will now be rewarded with a bank page.
• Potions: Minor potions will become stackable. Free players will still be unable to use major potions.
Non-members will still have access to minor potions which currently are not stackable. However, these minor potions will become stackable when the in-game ads build goes live.
• Membership items (Rare and Unique) may occasionally generate to allow for non-member use – this is how we plan to give free players ‘limited’ access to these higher quality items.
• Around-the-game ads: Dungeon Runners is the first NCsoft free-to-play game that is supporting around-the-game ads. This is seen as a way we can continue to develop the game and add unlimited content while keeping it free for non-members.
There are three kinds of ads in Dungeon Runners: video, static and banner ads.
• Non-member players will see the video ads during the login and log out. Also, when they get sent back to Townston they will see a static ad during occasional zone transitions. There will always be a presence of banner ads on the top of the screen when non-member players create their characters and during play.
• The addition of in-game ads also includes a large amount of new playable content for all players. Additionally, non-members will have access to many Rare (yellow) items and even an occasional Unique (purple) item. Also, any item granted by a vendor or gained from King's Coins will be usable by free players.
