- Back up FC3.dll or FC3_d3d11.dll from your bin folder; and Patch.dat and Patch.fat from your data_win32 folder.<br />

- Unzip into a directory of your choice.<br />

- Replace FC3.dll or FC3_d3d11.dll in your bin folder with the ones from the unzipped directory.<br />

- Replace Patch.dat and Patch.fat in your data_win32 folder with the ones from the unzipped directory.<br />

- Enjoy (you will, probably, have to start a new game).<br />

To manually remove tagging sounds:<br />

- Open FC3.dll or FC3_d3d11.dll with a hex editor (I use HxD)<br />

- Find the text sndHintBinocular<br />

- Replace the corresponding hex values with zeroes so that sndHintBinocular becomes a line of periods<br />

- Save
